I hate writing reviews, but I feel that if I would have read a review like this before signing my lease I would have been happier and safer. The absolute best part of renting from McCallum Communities is moving out. I was only living here temporarily so that I could complete my senior year of college. I would not recommend this as a long term solution for anyone. The owners should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Can easily rent this place to, particularly, new-coming international students who are unaware of these problems. Most disgusting complex I've ever lived in! Roaches/bugs coming out of the walls and cabinets, maintenance comes by 1x every few months for a quick spray and that's it. I had to buy a can of Raid every time I went to the grocery store . Management , rarely answer the phone, manager never in office to speak too.

If I could give them -5 stars I would, they are ran HORRIBLY if you ever need maintenance they won’t come no matter how many request you put in. Office staff will treat you like you’re stupid, and a waste of their time. They think that painting a building changes the entire complex, there are drug addicts, break in’s, animal poop everywhere, trash, broken screens. McCallum Communities has 3 shopping centers within 1.1 miles, which is about a 2-minute drive.

I've complained to the property managers multiple times and the problem was never solved despite their efforts to fix it. Other than this, the apartment is fine, almost ideal even, but I can't stand cold showers anymore and all the wasted water and money just waiting for it to get warm. It's made it so much harder getting to work on-time and getting things done in the morning. I'm leaving as soon as I find another place to stay.
